Engine 177 Wetdown and celebration

- The Irvington Fire department celebrated the arrival of the new Engine 177 with Village officials, Clergy, neighboring departments, family and friends on Saturday afternoon. After a brief introduction and thanks to the committee by Chief Mastropietro, Father Byrne blessed the new engine with holy water and Mayor Siegel sprinkled champaign. Quick knockdown by firefighters contains fire to bedroom

- Irvington Firefighters responded to the report of a fire in a 2 story garden apartment on Sunday afternoon, March 14th. Firefighters had been out through the night responding to dozens of calls because of the Nor'easter when the call came in. Firefighters Attend Ice Rescue Training in New Hampshire

- On Saturday, March 6th firefighters attended an Ice Rescue Technician course in Harrisville, New Hampshire. This course is designed as a foundational course for all public safety and rescue professionals.
