Quick knockdown by firefighters contains fire to bedroom MARCH 14 - Irvington Firefighters responded to the report of a fire in a 2 story garden apartment on Sunday afternoon, March 14th. Firefighters had been out through the night responding to dozens of calls because of the Nor'easter when the call came in.
