The Village of Irvington celebrated July 4th a day late due to the inclement weather. The fireworks were fantastic as well as the weather. The Irvington Fire Department stood by to ensure the safety of the village residents as well as the team setting off the fireworks.

Ex-Chief Jimmy Ruffler stood in as acting fire chief as a number of members and chiefs were either on vacation or attending Lt. Steve Mangiacotti's wedding.
