On Saturday December 13th at 04:42 hours, the Irvington Fire Department and Dobbs Ferry Fire Department were dispatched to 100 N. Mountain Drive, the Ardsley Country Club for a heavy smoke condition. Upon arrival, units found a heavy fire condition.

First arriving units had issues with the initial water supply but quickly corrected the issue. There were difficult conditions to contend with up on the hill overlooking the Hudson River; wind, freezing temperatures and ice.

All responding units did a great job. Units were able to stop the fire from expanding to other parts of the building with an aggressive interior and exterior attack.

The officers and members of the Irvington Fire Department would like to thank all departments that responded and helped at this difficult fire. There were no reported injuries and everyone went home safe.

The investigation is still under way as to the cause of the fire.
