The New Engine 177 was delivered to Irvington Monday afternoon. Built by 4GuysFire in Meyersdale Pa, the 2009 Spartan Gladator chassis will replace a 1989 FMC/Simon-Duplex. Engine 177 serves many purposes for the Village of Irvington, primary responses include; car accidents/extrication, car fires, brush fires, hazardous materials calls, wires down, carbon monoxide and gas leaks. Engine 177 also responds to all structure fires to supply a secondary water source.
