On Saturday, October 4th, 2025, the Irvington Volunteer Fire Department held it's annual inspection. Members worked tirelessly all week cleaning the trucks, apparatus bay, gear, upstairs/downstairs, and every nook and cranny in between. This morning shortly after 6AM, the Irvington Fire Department was requested to relocate to Elmsford fire headquarters to standby while Elmsford operated at a working file. While enroute, Ladder 36 was directed to the scene to assist in extinguishing the fire. Units operated in frigid temperatures and heavy wind conditions for several hours before being released....
