The Irvington Volunteer Fire Department was recently contacted by the East Irvington Civic Association to join their annual meeting. The department was asked to put on a presentation regarding fire safety due to two recent fires in East Irvington. Ex-Chief, Irvington Fire Inspector and Irvington Fire Department Training Officer Nick Gasparre presented a 30 minute talk about fire safety and the things home owners should be aware of.
