| The Irvington Fire Department's anglers enjoyed a very successful day catching bluefish in the Sound on Sunday, October 14th. Once again, FF Dennis "D-Mont" Montaruli did an outstanding job planning and organizing a great event. The IFD would also like to thank Captain Chris and the crew of Island Current II for smooth sailing and some serious fishing. The blues were biting early and often, and Captain Chris and his team did an expert job of helping the IFD land and filet the big ones. Firefighter Andrew Lamberti took home the honors for biggest fish with a very impressive bluefish. |
