Irvington Fire Department Celebrates 127th Annual Inspection

On September 29th, the Irvington Fire Department held its 127th Annual Inspection and awards dinner. Regional dignitaries, as well as fire service leaders from throughout Westchester, joined in reviewing the department's personnel, apparatus, and facilities. The pride of the Irvington Fire Department's 60 members was clearly evident in the superb condition of the apparatus and equipment on display. Following the inspection ceremony, invited guests joined the department for dinner at the Westchester Marriott. This was a time for the entire department to reflect upon what has been accomplished, as well as an opportunity to recognize individuals and organizations for their efforts in support of the Irvington Fire Department. The department's two annual awards were also presented.
