| "It's Fire Prevention Week: Prevent Home Fires!"
As part of NFPA's annual NFPA Fire Prevention week Captain Don Costello brought members of his team down to the Irvington Public library to spread the word that, "with a little extra caution, preventing the leading causes of home fires – cooking, heating, electrical and smoking-materials – is within their power."
Firefighters Nyq Kablev, William Basley and ex-chief Jim Brennen assisted Captain Costello by showing off some of the firefighter's gear, distributing handouts and talking about fire prevention. |
