Irvington's Bravest Complete Challenging Hands-On Training

Five members of the Irvington Fire Department completed a challenging two-day hands-on training program this past weekend. The NY State Association of Fire Chiefs has been sponsoring the annual training at the former Concord Hotel for the past several years. It provides firefighters from all over New York a unique opportunity to hone their skills under live fire conditions and to learn new techniques from some of the best instructors in the fire service. Lt. David Dowd, Lt. Patrick Colantuono, Lt. Michael Colantuono, FF Joe Trama, and FF David Lutomski completed the two day program in Engine and Ladder Company Operations.
